【Abstract】 It is shown that manganese can quickly accumultate in animal heart and lead to acute and subacute cardiovascular functional depression and hypotension, which is associated with the myocardial injured mitochondrion and blockage of the slow calcium channel. Until now, the experimental studies on Mn cardiovascular toxicity are mainly limited in vitro test, acute and subacute toxicity, which is short of data on chronic toxicity.
