【Abstract】 Gu Weijun was a well-known professional diplomat a nd international statesman of the Republic of China,who had in his life partici pa ted in many important diplomatic negotiations between China and other countries . The key of his success was realism which was just in accordance with the tren d of the modern international political operation. As a basic way of diplomacy, negotiation obviously showed his realistic diplomatic thought.
