【摘要】 传统的纪事本末体例有叙事完整明快的优势。《山西历代纪事本末》一书 ,突破近现代以来章节体风行的局面 ,依据山西区域特点 ,吸收各体所长 ,加以协调、变通、改进 ,使古老的本末体焕发青春 ,成为一部相当成功的新型地方通史 ,对中国史学发展是一大贡献。如能增加大事年表及相应的地图 ,则会更为完善更多还原

【Abstract】 The traditional historiographical form of records of historical events has its merit in complete and lucid narration. A Record of Historical Events in Shanxi, as a comprehensive local history of a new type, is a success, and contributes a great deal to the development of historical studies of our country. It breaks away from the finely chaptered way of historiography that has become prevalent in the modern times, absorbs the merits of various forms of historiography not without adaptation and improvement, and, based on the characteristics of the history of Shanxi, revitalizes the traditional form of records of historical events. And the work would be even more commendable if a chronicle of events and corresponding maps were included.更多还原
