【Abstract】 A systematic study on flow patterns in plunge pools down stream of the high dams is carried out to investigate the mechanism of the energy dissipation.It is found that three patterns may occur to the flow in the pool including free impact jet,submerge impact jet and surface flow according to the downstream water level.The criteria for determining the flow pattern are proposed.更多还原
