【Abstract】 It is estimated that there will be a huge gap of energy supply up to the middle of the 21th century in China, which is about 2 × 109 tce. For making up the huge gap, nuclear power development in a large scale will be one of the essential ways. Nuclear energy should be thought as a clean and safe energy, the disposal of nuclear waste can be solved, and nuclear power in China also has economic competitiveness. Some policies are suggested to promote nuclear power development in China below: highlighting clean and definite strategy, position, and roles; taking the technical line of nuclear power development according to international tendency; speeding up the localization of equipment production for nuclear power; enchancing the capacity build in developing China’s own technology based on scientific research; and paying attention to public acceptability earlier.更多还原
