【Abstract】 Prodenia litura (Fabricius) is the main insect which destroys vegetables and beans in Cixi City.It has occurred on a large scale for five times since 1990s .One reason of this is that the planted area of the plants such as beans and vegetables has risen greatly, and the other is that the climate is fa\| vorable for the large occurrence of the pest. The damage rate on vegetables in Summer and Autumn reaches 65.6%. And the loss rate of the destroyed Autumn beans reaches 22.5%～77.5%. Using sex hormone of Prodenia liture to forecast the period, peak and quantity of the moth in peak time is better than the usual methods of using black light moth\|attracting lamps, sugar and vinegar’s, and branches.更多还原
