【摘要】 文章研究了利用空间数据引擎和分布式客户机／服务器体系结构开发WebGIS的模型及基本实现方法，并介绍了Visual Basic6．0和Active Server Pages技术在开发WebGIS中的特点和优势。

【Abstract】 ： This article presents the model and basic methods of developing WebGIS by spatial data engine and distributed C／S architecture，and introduces the characteristics and advantages of developing WebGIS by Visual basic6．0 and Active Server Pages．
