【Abstract】 Deng Xiaoping’s education theory is an important part of Deng Xiaoping’s theory, it’s the guiding ideology for the development of our socialist education enterprise in the new area, and it makes a brilliant exposition about a series of vital theories and practices of the educational reform and development in our country. We should further understand the profound historic significance and momentous current significance of Deng Xiaoping’s major theories, such as education must be geared to the needs of modernization, world and future; priority should be given to the development of education enterprise; school must to correct political orientation and cultivate new people qualified with ideal, moral, culture and discipline; knowledge and talent should be valued; and leaders are the key to implement the decisive status of education.
