30年代英国的和平运动

【摘要】 本文试图从以下三个方面就英国 30年代的和平运动展开讨论 :和平运动的发展与演变 ;和平运动的构成与流派 ;和平运动的影响与评价。

【Abstract】 The boom of the British peace movement in the 1930s was due to the Britain’s heavy loss in the WWI and the deteriorating international situation at that time. The popular social belief of the British in the 1930s stressed more on peace than on war. Any attempt to disarm or compromise was favored, and this tendency resulted in the reconciliation policy of the British government towards the Nazi regime, which caused the WWII.
