【Abstract】 The effectiveness of round burn debeaking to baby chicken was observed and was also compared with that of the traditional cut burn debeaking. The result showed that serious round burn debeaking significantly reduced food taking and weight gaining of the baby chicken, which, therefore, should not be adopted in production. Adequate round burn debeaking, which could avoid accidental burning and cutting of the tip of tongue, is more effective than the traditional cut burn method.更多还原
