【Abstract】 As a new way of utilizing surface runoff to stabilize agricultural production in semi arid region, rainfall collection techniques are being utilized widely in northwestern China. However, there are some aspects needed to be improved furthermore to set a solid basis for extending the techniques to more regions. Nowadays, the introduction of low flow irrigation techniques, such as drip irrigation, provides an effective way of using collected rainfall. For collecting high quality of water for irrigation, the basic principles of designing and constructing sand deposition pit and filter pit in development of a rainfall collection projects are discussed in this paper.更多还原
