【Abstract】 Osmotic regulation is a very important physiological action in crustaceans\’ life Its vital executor is the gill epithelium This paper discussed the morphology,ultrastructure and function of the gill epithelium and its biochemical aspects and physiological mechanisms during crustaceans\’osmotic regulation It also discussed the series of morphological changes, metabolic changes and physiological\|biochemical processions of the gill epithelium during salinity acclimation
