新型热电材料β-Zn4Sb3的电学性能
Transport Properties of a New Type of Thermoelectric Material β-Zn4Sb3
【摘要】 采用真空熔炼和烧结的方法制备了新型热电材料尽β-Zn4Sb3。X射线衍射分析表明样品为单相。2种样品从室温到723K温度范围内的电学性能测量表明,β-Zn4Sb3在500K~650K时具有较高的功率因子,真空熔炼样品的性能要优于烧结样品,其功率因子在 623K时达到最大值 3.9μW.cm-1.K-2。结果表明,β-Zn4Sb3在热电转换领域有潜在的应用前景。
【Abstract】 Samples of thermoelectric material β-Zn4Sb3 were prepared by vacuum melting and sintering. X-ray analysis reveals that single-phased β-Zn4Sb3 has been obtained. Transport properties of samples were measured between room temperature and 723 K. The experimental results show that the melted β-Zn4Sb3 has high power factor in the 500K-650K temperature range, compared to the sintered one, and a maximum value of about 3.9-μW.cm-1.K-2 is achieved at 623K. This value is comparable with the p-type state-of-the-art thermoelectric materials such as Bi2Te3-based alloys. The β-Zn4Sb3 with good performance is very promising for thermoelectric applications.
