【Abstract】 New wheat variety-Su9604 with hard, white wheat with the middle contain of gluten was released by Suzhou City Agricultural Institute. The yield of the variety was as high as 6000-7500kg/hm 2 and suitable for growth in middle and high fertilizing soil in Huaibei and Yudong Region. The plant height, 1000-seed weight, volume weight, contain of protein and wet gluten was 82cm, 38-45g, 800g/l, 14.2% and 30% respectively. The time of dough stability was over 3 minutes and the variety had good resistance to lodging and drought.
