【Abstract】 In an essay in ‘Surgical Essentials’, Chen Ziming , a famous doctor of the Song dynasty, pointed out the importance of a holistic cooncept, the unity of external and internal factors in treating sores, and the need to stress the relationship with the spleen and stomach.
