【Abstract】 The author holds that under the new circumstances attention should be paid to the following aspects of IPW in hospitals. ①IPW should be integrated with the deepening of hospital reform. ②IPW should transform in form from the “large scale and centralized” type to the “flexible and diversified” type. ③IPW should make wide use of new carriers. ④Reform of IPW should keep in step with hospital reform. ⑤IPW should be advanced and scientific in nature.
