【Abstract】 Economic research of information technology (IT) is the most important branch of IT research and development, which sufficiently portrays and studies the influence of IT on organizational change and economic development, and the accompanying problems. The paper reviews the resulting theories and application of IT economic research latest 20 years, and discusses the problems and challenges facing in the process of IT development.
