【Abstract】 Web and database technology are crucial for contemporary manufacturing system.Application of Web and database technology to the research on CAPP is as a trend for CAPP development. The necessity of Web-and-database-based CAPP is briefly described at first,then, some key technologies of Web-and-database-based CAPP are discussed in detail. The technologies include: the architecture of Web-and-database-based CAPP system and its main functions and characteristics, the customized process planning information model based on the product tree, the presentation method for process planning documentation, the relationship between the Web-and-database-based CAPP system and the Product Data Management (PDM), the technology of customized model definition, the integration technology between CAPP and MRPⅡ/ERP, production or BOM oriented process planning method, and action-based navigation technology for process planning.更多还原
