【Abstract】 Root-knot nematode ( Meloidogyne spp.) causes a serious yield-loss in pepper ( Capsicum spp.) worldwide. In the paper, literatures on its damage and control in pepper is briefly reviewed. The international progress and trends in pepper breeding for nematode resistance, including seedling inoculation techniques, collection and utilization of germplasms, resistance genes, breeding strategies, are summarized and discussed. Some advices are presented for improving the status of control and resistance breeding to root-knot nematode in China.更多还原
