地壳岩石波速和电导率实验研究

【摘要】 在高温高压条件下研究了地壳岩石的纵波速度和电导率变化特征。实验结果表明 ,在给定压力条件下 ,升温至岩石内部出现部分熔融时 ,波速有较大幅度的下降 ,而电导率有几个量级的增大。对于花岗岩 16 %的部分熔融可使纵波速度降低 5 % ,而辉橄岩 11%的熔融可使电导率增大约两个数量级。这一结果为解释青藏高原地区地壳中出现的低速高导层提供了实验依据。

【Abstract】 The compressional wave velocities (V p ) and electrical conductivity in some crustal rocks collected from Tibet Plateau are measured under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure. The experimental results suggest that V p  decreases quickly and electrical conductivity increases by several orders when partial melting occurs in the samples. Examination of thin sections of run products shows that V p  decreases by 5% when partial melting occurs in about 16% granite sample, and electrical conductivity increases by two orders when partial melting occurs is in 11% pyroxene peridotite sample. These data support the conclusion that partial melting is one of possible causes of low velocity (high conductivity) layer in Tibet Plateau crust.
