【Abstract】 A new triterpene, a-amyrin hexacosoate (I) was isolated together with four known triterpenes, a-amyrenone (II), betulinic acid (III), oleanolic acid (IV) and ursolic acid (V), from the stems and leaves of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.).
