【Abstract】 Draft Regulations of Requisition by Purchase on Landlords for Land in the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Border Region issued on December 13th,1946,was a kind of land policy practised in the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Border Region for the transition from the policy of reduction of rent and interest to that of complete extermination of the system of landlord ownership.The Regulations laid down in detail such provisions as for the scope of requisition by purchase,assessment of land price,commitment to land purchase,principle of land distribution,paying off land bonds,etc..The promulgation of the Regulations provided a legal basis for the thoroughgoing solution of land problems in the Border Region,and also accumulated a great deal of experience for practising land reform in other liberated areas.
