玻璃钢管微波测厚技术
Microwave Measurement of the Wall Thickness of Glass Fiber Pipeline
【摘要】 介绍了利用微波无损检测技术测量玻璃钢管壁厚的基本原理及其测量系统 .依据此类玻璃钢管壁厚检测信号的特征 ,建立了壁厚与测试信号幅值之间的关系式 ,探讨了减小该方程式计算误差的途径 ,并给出了改进方程式的方法 .分析结果表明 ,该方法简便易行 ,测算精度较高 ,对于玻璃钢管道及容器等壁厚的检测是有效可行的
【Abstract】 The inhomogeneity of the wall thickness of glass fiber pipeline and vessel can lead to the decrease of their strength and service life.Therefore,their wall thickness should be detected before the use of them.The authors put forward a method of measuring the wall thickness by using microwave.In this paper are introduced the measuring principle of the method,the constitution of the measuring system and the analysis method of measured signal.The signal source of the measuring system is 8mm microwave.The wall thickness of measured pipeline continuously varies.The relation curve was obtained between the amplitude of the reflected signal of the measured pipeline and its wall thickness.The curve can be divided into two parts and every part is an approximate straight line. And the quartic fitting function of the curve was gained by least square method.But the relational expression should be more practical between the wall thickness and the amplitude.By fitting and solving inverse function,two linear functions were obtained between the wall thickness and the amplitude.Their fitting errors are all less than 8%.The precision of the linear functions was illustrated by an example,the error of wall thickness is less than 2.26%.The precision can meet engineering requirement.
