【Abstract】 The choice of oilsource correlation methods is very important to its conclusions. In this paper,as illustrated by three practical examples,different conclusions were gained by used different methods, and showed that misapprehend and misunderstand are existed in the popular used correlation coefficient analysis, distribution fingerprint correlation and distribution type of carbon isotope component in the petroleum geochemical research. As a result, it can be concluded that, multivariant statistical analysis by multiparameters and multiindexes should be advocated or promoted to strengthen the reliabilities of oilsource correlation.更多还原
