【Abstract】 To enact a civil code in China,the needs of the socialist market economy must be taken as the starting point,the legislative experience in the making the General Principles of Civil Law should be summarized,the fundamental principles of civil law be coordinated logically and the system of the fundamental principles of civil law be reconstructed.The author of this article holds that the fundamental principles of civil law of our country should comprise of such principles as equality,autonomy,public policy and bona fide as well as the prevention of the abuse of rights.
