【Abstract】 Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,there have been five outstanding characteristics existing in the reform of the agricultural economic structure. They may be summerized as follows: First of all,the way of the reform has basically been a process from below.Secondly,the reform has been directly intended for the system of ownership of means of production.Thirdly,remarkable success has been achieved.Fourthly,the limitations of land contract and responsibility system have been revealed.And the last,a great many surplus rural labors have been made in the process of the reform.
