【摘要】 社会发展对英语专业人才培养规格提出了新的要求 ,英语专业教学改革势在必行。外语教育工作者应根据新《教学大纲》的要求 ,转变思想观念 ,积极改革课程设置 ,改进课堂教学 ,提高教师自身的素质。同时 ,教师要通过教育和教学实践活动 ,帮助学生做好心理调适 ,排除各种心理障碍 ,充分发挥学生的主体地位作用 ,使学生的个性得到充分发展 ,这就要求教师必须把英语教学改革与学生的整体素质培养结合起来更多还原

【Abstract】 WT5”BZ]Social development has set a new standard for training qualified personnel of English major.Therefore,reform of major English teaching is imperative.Foreign language educators must comply with the new syllabus,change their modes of thought,actively participate in reform of curriculum design,and improve classroom teaching and their own quality.Meanwhile,by educational and teaching activities teachers should help students readjust their psychology,get rid of their psychological obstacles,bring their leading role into full play,and fully develop their individuality.This requires teachers to combine the reform of English teaching with developing students’ overall quality.
