【Abstract】 This Paper argues that the implications of the title of The Red Mansion Dream bear close relationship to the character QIN Ke-qing. who was the illusory image of Fairy Maiden Jinghuan. The name of QIN Ke-ding was the combination of the surname Qin of Jia’s Mansion and Keqing in fairyland. The location in which QIN Ke-qing appeared in the dream of WANG Xi-feng and JIA Bao-yu and made requests was The Tian Xiang Mansion, namely The Red Mansion, and the dream just indicates" The Red Mansion Dream".
