【Abstract】 The rammed-earth wall excavated this time lies between Dongli and Shunhe roads in the east of Zhengzhou city.In addition to the wall,there were discovered one pottery-making kiln and eight ash-pits.The unearthed objects include the pottery round-bellied jar,deep-bellied jar,olive-shaped deep-bellied jar,comb mark jar,li tripod,basin,jar with pinch traces on the rim,ding tripod,urn, vat,jue trileg cup,zeng steamer and large-mouthed zun vase;the bone arrowhead;and the stone pestle and spade.Stratigraphical evidence and the objects unearthed in association with it suggest that the construction of the wall was not earlier than the late fourth phase of the Erlitou culture and not later than the first phase of the lower Erligang remains.The excavation provides important data for understanding the early cultural aspect of the Shang city in Zhengzhou and the layout of the site,as well as for further studying the character of the city and the periodization of its culture.更多还原
