【Abstract】 The interwell recognition is very important for oil prospecting and exploitation. This paper presents a new interwell recognition method. After the log data has been preprocessed,the layers have been segmented and the features have been extracted, local semiautomatic recognition based on the nearest neighbouring rule and global automatic recognition based on dynamic programming are applied jointly.
