【摘要】 主要研究了HFC网络物理层的调制解调、频谱分配以及传输格式等技术，以使网络支持ATM和STM等多种业务的高速共缆传输。

【Abstract】 In this paper, the modulation and demodulation, spectrum arrangement and transmission format in physical layer of HFC net are discussed, so that the high speed transmission of the ATM and STM service will he supported.
