【Abstract】 MPEG-7, or the Multimedia Content Description Interface, promises to standardize descriptions of audio-visual material to allow universal indexing, retrieval, filtering, control, and other activities supported by rich meta-data. In this paper an overview of the current conception of MPEG-7, the examples how current practice could be incorporated into the MPEG-7 framework are given. And a few thoughts on possible directions and solutions for the standard are presented.更多还原
