【Abstract】 By the analysis and classification of the features for the rotational components, a structure for the representation of the features by using a three-digit chain code is provided in this paper. Also, a feature model based on the relations of the component has been developed. Some research on the design and implementation of A CIMS oriented CAPP system on the basis of this model has been done here.
