【Abstract】 Elaboration has been made on the development and implement of an integrated on-board engine diagnostic system, which monitors different kinds of signals from sensors installed in engine and, after treatment and input, uses them as characteristic parameters for fault diagnosis of the engine. In diagnostic methodology, expert knowledge and pattern recognition theory are applied in a combined way, and the Relating Degree statistical method is used to calculate and analyze all the data.
