【Abstract】 It is wellknown that the continuous travel distance and cycle life are critical characteristics of batteries used for electric vehicles.Gel batteries have more electrolyte,lower charge voltage and working temperature,less water loss than those of AGM batteries.They are resistant to deep discharge and have long cycle life.Gel batteries can decrease plate sulfation,increase discharge voltage,it recovers quickly after discharging.Their cumulative capacity and power increase with intermittent discharging.Continuous travel distance is long.So that Gel batteries are suitable to use for electric vehicles.更多还原
