【Abstract】 Component and characteristic of intelligent structure is introduced. Because of the case that application in this area is lesser in our country, a kind of intelligent structure base on ERF is developed and applied for boring chatter control successfully. The structure is applied with advantage of real time control facility, energy cost little and structure simple.
