【Abstract】 This paper mainly reviews three most important elements in a telepresence system: a force-reflecting manual controller, a virtual reality unit and an advanced operator interface. The force-reflecting manual controller provides operator with the feel of touch, the virtual reality unit gives the operator 3D view of the remote working environment, and the advanced operator interface allows the operator to easily control, model, plan and simulate remote systems.更多还原
