【Abstract】 The character of finite information sets and intelligent retrieval interfaces are explored, and both the popular technologies and their suited information representation methods are also introduced in this paper,These technologies are: tangled-tree indexing,decompose-match and synthesizing. Usually, a commonly used information system uses a finite information set. Developing a user-friendly intelligent interface for such kind of systems is feasible and is a mainstream of the MIS development today.
