【Abstract】 The paper points out the security threats existed in ATM network, addresses data encryption technique?integrity service etc. Based on the opinion that placing the security layer between AAL layer and ATM layer, this paper presents an authentication scheme and a key distribution protocol. This protocol is integrated with the existing ATM signaling protocol, as part of the call setup procedures. The developed security design can be transparently integrated into the B-ISDN protocol reference model without violating the existing standards.更多还原
