Co-2Y和Co-5Y合金在600-800℃空气中的氧化行为研究
THE OXIDATION OF Co-2Y AND Co-5Y ALLOYS AT 600- 800 ℃ IN AIR
【摘要】 本文研究了Co-2Y与Co-5Y(原子分数,%,下同)合金在600-800℃空气中的氧化行为,纯Co在三个温度下的氧化符合抛物线规律。Co-Y合金在800℃下的氧化符合抛物线规律,而在700℃时则接近于立方速率规律,在600℃时Co-2Y合金氧化仍遵循立方速率规律,而Co-5Y合金则偏离立方和抛物线速率规律,Co-Y合金表面形成的氧化膜为Co的氧化物和Y2O3的混合物。Y2O3的分布继承了金属间化合物相Co(17)Y2在原始合金中的分布形态。CO-Y合金内氧化严重。讨论了合金氧化机制。
【Abstract】 The oxidation of pure Co and binary Co-Y alloys containing 2% and 5% Y(atomic fraction)respectively at 600-800 ℃ in air has been studied. The oxidation of pure Co at all temperatures followsthe parabolic rate law. The oxidation of Co-Y alloys follows the parabolic law at 800 ℃ , but cubic ratelaw at 700 ℃ . The oxidation of Co-2Y alloy at 600 ℃ is still cubic, but that of Co-5Y alloy is irregularand deviates from the parabolic and cubic law. The scales grown on the Co-Y alloys are composed of Cooxides and Y2O3. The distribution of Y2O3 follows closely that of the intermetallic compound Co17Y2 inthe alloys. Co-Y alloys undergo serious internal oxidation. The oxidation mechanism of the alloys is alsodiscussed.
