【Abstract】 In the collaboration design systems,a designer and a knowledge system may cooperatively solve a design problem. Explanation is an important issue in building an effectively interactive design environment of collaboration systems. This paper considers the two related problems of explaining the system’ s reasoning and the design generated by the system.
