【Abstract】 Common picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) lack intelligence in managing medical images, resulting in inefficient storage and query of images.In the PACS implemented by Silong People’s Hospital of Guangdong, hierarchical distributed storage architecture is designed, and QBIC (query based on image content)and techniques of image understanding expert system are introduced. Evaluated in terms of image access time atthe display stations, the system demonstrates an improvement in storage management speed and flexibility of query.更多还原
