【Abstract】 The paper researches in three kinds of focus way in the May 4th fictions: perfect- focus, inner- focus, andout- focus. The perfect- focus was often used in the ancient Chinese fictions. Though it is used in the May 4th fictions, itdoesn’t interfere with the texts less than that in the ancient fictions. The inner- focus is the most active narrative way in theMay 4th fictions, because it is adaptive for the author to express the waken soul.
