【Abstract】 There are several minority peoples inXinJiang.Education for minrity women there hasadvanced by leaps and bounds in the five decadesfollowing the founding of the People’s Republicof China.In the 1990s.the enrolment of elemen-tary and secondary girl students of ethnic minor-ity origin accounts for approximately 49 percentof the total number of minority students inXinJiang, while college girls ofUygur and Kazak origin alsoexceed 40 percent of thetotal number of college stu-dents of these two ethnicgroups. The develop-ment of educatiion inXinjian has,as far asminroity women are con-cerned brought about his-toric changes in their socialparticipation awareness,mari-tal concept,outlook on childbear-ing and gender concept althoughrestrictive factors on women’s education anddevelopment continue to exist.更多还原
