微波硫灯机制和试验的探讨
Theoretical and Experimental Investigations on Microwave Sulfur Lamp
【摘要】 微波硫灯是90年代出现的一种全新的光源.现代微波技术和等离子体理论的巧妙结合,使这种新光源既具有类似太阳光的连续光谱,又不失高效的优点.从理论上探讨微波硫灯的分子辐射光谱、2450MHz放电电弧的建立及谐振腔的设计,给出了硫分子产生连续可见光谱的机理,电弧建立的击穿判据和微波谐振腔参数的设计要点.最后是微波硫灯的部分试验数据.
【Abstract】 Microwave sulfur lamp is a new kind of light sources emerged in 1990s’. Combining the microwave technology and plasma discharge,it has the advantages of continuous spectrum and high efficiency. Theoretical investigation of the molecular spectrum of microwave sulfur lamp, combined with the establishment of arc excited by 2 450 MHz microwave and design for resonant cavity reveals the mechanism of visible spectrum radiated by sulfur molecule (S 2), and gives the breakdown criterion of arc and design essentials for microwave resonant cavity as well. Some experimental phenomena and results for microwave sulfur lamp are also presented.
