【Abstract】 The physicochemical and technical properties of Pikushan clay, Wangfushan clay as well as Tongjin clay were systemly detected and studied. Moreover, the applications of these clay materials in building ceramics were also discussed. The results show that the Pikushan clay and Wangfushan clay can be used as bonding clay in building ceramics; Tonjin clay has lower plasticity, but it still can be used as raw material in making building ceramics to replace feldspar.
