【Abstract】 The development and deployment of Intranet is one of the hot spot in computer application. One of the prevalent phenomenon of Intranet development is lack of powerful development methodology. It is proposed in this article that Information Engineering and Strategic Data-Planning is a suitable methodology for developing enterprise-level Intranet. The information environment in today’s Intranet is more complex than that the day of the Strategic Data-Planning proposed. So there are some of the new demands for the Strategic Data-Planning.
