【Abstract】 Firstly, we introduce briefly that the processor scheduling mechanism in Windows NT operating system is fairly rigid, supporting only one fixed priority scheduling policy. Secondly, we present CPU Inheritance Scheduling, a novel processor scheduling framework, in which arbitrary threads can act as schedulers for other threads. Widely different scheduling policies can be implemented under the framework, and many different policies can coexist in a single system. In the final part, we qualitatively discuss the possibility of its realization in the Windows NT Operating System with the acknowledgment of its great benefit.更多还原
