【Abstract】 To evaluate the effect of Xinmalong on cor pulmonale with heart failure, 30 patients without peripheral edema (group A) and 40 patients with peripheral edema (group B) were assessed for the right ventricular ejection fraction (RVEF),1/3 EF,1/3 ejection rate (1/3 ER), peak filling rate (PFR), 1/3 FR, and 1/3 filling fraction (1/3 FF) by means of gated equilibrium blood pool radionuclide ventriculography. The results were that after Xinmalong treatment, PFR and 1/3 FR increased in group A, and RVEF, 1/3 EF, 1/3 ER, PFR, 1/3 FR, and 1/3 FF eleveted significantly in group B. The heart rate, blood pressure, liver and kidney functions did not change. It was concluded that Xinmalong could intensify the contractility of cardiac muscle, dilate the pulmonary artery, and then benefit the cardiac function.更多还原
