【Abstract】 The principle of singularity of signals using wavelet transform is discussed. The yearly mean sunspot numbers during 1700-1993 are analyzed by wavelet transform. The singularity of sunspot activity is precisely determined. The periods of solar activity are found using the wavelet transforms at scales 2 2 and 2 3. The results show that wavelet transform is a better method in finding sunspot periodicity than classical procedures.更多还原
